Stuck-In-The-Past (typically British) anal pain
Mark Twain said, "The British do everything that's always been done before. The Americans do everything that's never been done before."
This British clown wanted to have an Research & Development dept. to get government tax credits, but had no intention of ever doing anything new. Evey proof of concept and business plan was shot down. If you weren't an old wrinkled septuagenarian then your ideas had no chance. Even when customers were ready to buy the products, there was always some excuse for delaying the launch.
In 6 years not one new product got off the ground, yet this guy and his company got hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal tax credits.
He's not just an all-purpose asshole, he's a tax cheat and a fraud as well.
Well, Mark Twain is American, so of course he thinks Americans are better than the British. But wow, you not only insulted the British, but seniors as well. Maybe it was your attitude that rubbed the boss the wrong way.
Be a Whistle Blower, turn him in.
You are both so stunningly stupid that you both HAVE to be American. The Americans would be a stain on a pilgrims underwear but for the British. You didn't just spring for a virgins loins after all did you? God give me strength!
