The Complainer, The Knit-Picker, The Bain of my Life.......the Boss

Today, the first thing I walk in the door to work today, literally the first thing out of my boss's mouth is something negative.

That pretty normal.

However, today my boss immediately jumped on my case for not completing a task the day before.

The only problem is, I DID complete the task the day before and when he looked to see, he realized he was wrong........BUT he hates being wrong.

So, he quickly changed his complaint slightly to cover his false accusation.

I told my boss, "here is the completed work, it was done yesterday".

Then he went off, "well why wasnt it done when i told you to get it done?"

I said, "you told me to complete it by the end of the day....and it was completed by the end of the day".

Then he bitches on, "I give you lists to remind you to do stuff and you never do it".

(im like, dude seriously the effin work was done and completed yesterday and its sitting right here in front of you.......so what is the issue?)

So, I just repeated, "well I completed the work yesterday like you told me to......so....."

Then he went off again on some strange tangent.

And I just said, "ok sir" (in kind of a slightly sarcastic tone).

He said, "don't smart off with me right now- I'm on my last leg with you".

LOL its just funny cuz he wont just fire me. He'd rather have me around to verbally abuse whenever he wants. I'm not intimidated by his antics. If he wants to fire me, let him. I have a whole time/dated backlog of verbally abusive things he's said to me. Let him fire me.

He wont be able to find anyone else who will take his crap.
